Notice of tonight's Waiver and Release: as a participant or volunteer for the Royersford Parks and Recreation Halloween Parade, you release and forever discharge and hold harmless the Royersford Parks and Recreation and those who serve both on the board and members of said organization from any and all liability, claims, demands of whatever kind of nature, either in law or in equity, which arise or may hereafter arise for the services that you as a participant or volunteer, provide to the Royersford Parks and Recreation. You understand and acknowledge that this Waiver and Release discharges the Royersford Parks and Recreation, it's board and members from and liability or claims that you may have against the Royersford Parks and Recreation with respect to bodily injury, illness, death, or property damage that may result from the services that you provide to the Royersford Parks and Recreation that could occur while participating or offering volunteer services.

“What is the quiet zone?”

That is a great question and it is what we can offer folks who don’t love the sounds echoing off of the buildings during the parade.

We made a space in front of the 4th Ave lot (across from Annamarie’s) that is the best place to be with sound sensitive friends. Look for the signs.

We are not asking for bands, dance troupes and sirens to stop - we just hope the sound echoing will not be as loud.

⛔️This will also be a smoke-free zone.

🎃Make sure to spread out along the parade route - our volunteers will be passing out candy every block.

👻Best spot to be would be around 3rd Ave - that's where the judges will be sitting to see the participants and performances.

🧑🏽‍🎤There are parking lots which will fill early - so street parking is your best bet.

⚠️Beware of detours and the train crossing closure. Main Street closes at 5pm - plan accordingly.

Have a great family or group costume? Want to show off your own individual costume? Then join the Royersford Halloween Parade and compete to win prizes! Registration for individuals, families, and small groups will happen before the start of the parade, just find the sign in table on 6th & Main in Royersford.

Chugga chugga boo boo! Norfolk hasn't played their last trick.

Beginning October 20th, the day of the Annual Royersford Halloween Parade on Main Street, and lasting through October 23rd, Main Street will be closed between 1st & 2nd Ave. Norfolk Southern will be creeping around performing maintenance on the seemingly haunted crossing (though we feel an exorcism may be needed). Beware of traffic during the parade and plan your route accordingly to avoid road closures.
