Central Minnesota's newest event center! Perfect for weddings, birthdays, anniversaries & graduations The BackShed opened up on April 1st, 2023.

The property was originally an implement dealer, Smieja Implement, for a number of years. Scott and Amy purchased the property in 2021 and started the renovations in August, 2022. The “BackShed” was a bare pole shed building when they started. Everything outside was replaced with new steel, and the old steel was used inside for added character. The entire inside of the building is brand new and co

mes equipped with a fire sprinkler system. The BackShed is a rental space for you to host any special occasion or event. We offer full day and full weekend packages to accommodate wedding receptions, or hourly rentals for birthday parties, graduations, anniversaries, family reunions, etc. We are open year round, equipped with climate control for cold winters and hot summers. The rental includes the use of tables and chairs (seating for 288); a full bar area with ice machine, keg cooler (4 kegs), drink station, and beverage coolers on wheels; a commercial sized refrigerator, and two food warmers.
