Announcing the recharging of the creative energy alliance!
We’re taking all the missions and principles of the one creative network and bringing it all together under the 28-year-old CEA, and I’m reaching out to all creative organizations and artists to join us in creating a power grid that connects us in new ways that will benefit our entire community.

Detroit has a lot going on! This hum of activity is created by many outstanding organizations who each have unique talents and skills. We are the Creative Energy Alliance, started in 1998 to connect these communities, to form one powerful force!

10/07/2026

We’ve flipped the switch and changed the name of the O.N.E. Creative Community, to return to our original 1998 brand: the Creative Energy Alliance!

I belive that Creative Energy is like electricity, a natural phenomenon that sparks real innovation and ingenuity, whenever two or more creatives gather to close a circuit. The reactivated CEA taps into this flow, forming a power grid that feeds Michigan’s creative spaces, events and "artrepreneurs." Linking individual organizations, we support each other and build a network that is more powerful and effective, to light up our entire creative community in our towns, cities, region and state.

I charge you to plug into this movement!
