In spite of warnings about the tough economic climate, Five15 Media, Mojo and More, an inspired independent book, music, movie and gift store with a “Left Bank” feel, opened in 2007 to rave reviews. Located at 600 South Washington Avenue in downtown Royal Oak, Five15 offers new, exciting and drag-tastic entertainment experiences. lage or Haight-Ashbury, wired for today’s generation. Since its inception, Five15 has hosted numerous events like fundraisers, fashion shows, author signings, poetry readings, and more. Finally hitting upon the smash hit of Drag Queen Bingo, Five15 brings hilarity and laughter with six shows every weekend! This includes Drag Bingo Brunch every Sunday. It has also begun to offer other events like painting classes and trivia nights, all ran by our fabulous queens. Five15 continues to create goodwill in the community by giving back. A portion of the sales from events will benefit local theatre groups including Stagecrafters, The Village Players, St. Dunstans Theatre Guild, Detroit Together Men’s Chorus, Affirmations and The Ringwald Theatre.
