Pros & Cons of Winter Weddings in Michigan:

Pros 👍: Winter cloud coverage makes for good lighting exposure for photos and video.

Cons 👎: It can get quite cold taking photos outside

Pros 👍: You can layer up your wedding attire while staying comfortable and formal.

Cons 👎: Wearing those same layers inside a well-heated area can make you uncomfortable, make sure to layer down and put your coat away.

Pros 👍: Winter weddings are surrounded by the Holidays, so family and friends are often able to attend.

Cons 👎: Michigan roads maybe full of snow and ice, making travel difficult

Here's an Idea! 💌

When designing your centerpieces, give each table an anniversary card to write on. If your tables are numbered have the card correspond to the numbered year. For example: If it's table 6, give a card to write for your sixth anniversary.

Tell your guests to write bits of advise and/or personal notes. Collect the cards at the end of the night and save them for your anniversaries down the line. This is a great way for your guests to participate in the festivities, as well as something for you and your partner to look forward to seeing later on!
