The perennials along the bluestone walls have been growing there for over 20 years. Each spring it's like old friends you haven't seen in awhile coming for a short visit. This iris, Flights of Butterfly, started as one plant and now there are probably over 40 babies scattered about the gardens. It will be time yet again to divide them next year.
