Had the esteemed pleasure of making my best friend’s wedding cake this weekend! The bride and groom are huge bibliophiles, so the wedding was all about books! Cake is spice cake with cream cheese frosting. 🍁 📕

Now that this beauty has been delivered to the birthday girl, I can share it! This cake has a story-When I delivered the gorgeous purple ombré cake a few weeks ago, the birthday girl saw it and chased me down in the parking lot to put in her order 😂😂😂 That was a first for me, and so flattering. It was an absolute joy to deliver this strawberry cake with cream cheese frosting this morning and hear her delight. May it be enjoyed and bring the birthday girl much happiness!

This was my first time making buttercream flowers for the mane of these unicorn beauties and I think these take the cake! Cake is white chocolate funfetti with vanilla buttercream.
