Royal Portraits: A Century of Photography will open tomorrow, Friday, May 17, 2024; the exhibit, tracks the evolution of royal portrait photography from the 1920s to modernity. One of the collection’s gems, is the earliest surviving color photograph of a royal—which just so happens to be a wedding portrait. Plus, the rare portrait has unexpected ties to Queen Elizabeth II’s nuptials.

My daughter-in-law made her bouquet for her and my son's wedding. It's her grandpa's ties and her grandma's brooches both of them are deceased. They got to attend the wedding in spirit. I thought it was so beautiful and creative.
