Some birthdays call for more than cake and candles.

A milestone birthday is a chance to gather the people who have been part of the story and make a little room for celebrating everything that came before.

This recent celebration in our Rose Room was filled with good food, plenty of conversation, and the kind of energy that makes a milestone feel truly special. From the first guest arriving to the final toast, the room was set for an evening centered around the guest of honor and the people who came to celebrate them.

Creating a space where the details fade into the background and the people in the room get to be the focus is one of our favorite parts of hosting milestone celebrations.

If the brief was “Make it feel like a really good morning together,” we'd say this open house event understood the assignment.

A beautiful spread of fresh fruit, a mimosa bar, savory appetizers, and plenty of something sweet made this gathering feel bright, relaxed, and welcoming from the moment each guest arrived.

It's also a good reminder that catering doesn't have to mean a formal sit-down meal. Sometimes the best menu is one that lets people mingle, graze, refill their glass, and enjoy the conversation.
