Here are some effective strategies for managing your wedding budget:

- Know how much you can afford to spend
- Learn what is most important to you on your big day and spend the majority of your budget on your top 3 (venue, band, photo/ video team, food, dress, decor, etc.)
- Make compromises and be realistic
- Repurpose decorations from your ceremony
- Skip the favors
- Create a payment plan and remind yourself of all upcoming expenses.

It's really easy to spend a lot of money on your wedding day but I encourage you to be intentional and put your money where it matters.

I love the ocean! On a recent girls' getaway to Bodega, I couldn't get enough of it! We hiked through the dunes and the fog, enjoyed the afternoon sun with a glass of bubbly, explored the little town of Bodega and its history. Did you know that the Alfred Hitchcock movie "The Birds" was filmed here? Anyway, a weekend without weddings was well spent to recharge, talk about life and maybe we tried to learn a TikTok dance.. but that will be kept behind the scenes 😊

Love is love! A fusion of traditions didn't come short at this Mexican-Indian-American wedding! Indian attire, Baraat, Bollywood entertainment, bridesmaids and groomsmen, tacos, mariachi band, henna art and a piñata and more! I had the best time planning Trina's and Eric's wedding! These sweethearts from the past, reunited and are so in love! They also have some amazing friends that offered to have their wedding at their beautiful winery in Fair Play which hadn't been done before! Turning this blank canvas into a wedding venue and creating a vision for this inaugural celebration was true bliss!

Photo booths .. are they in or are they out? Disposable cameras have come and gone and have come back again. Just like mocknecks, Converse, pink lipsticks and blue eye shadows. However, photo booths are here to stay. If you prefer a 360 booth or the backdrop with the camera and printer, there are some great vendors out there, that can help.
Most weddings get more traffic at the Photo Booth after dinner but cocktail receptions can also offer that little extra entertainment if you need it!

When I do a walkthrough at a wedding venue, I spend at least an hour in the space and think about the configuration, create an event flow and let the vibe guide me. It’s so important to look at the space from different angles, it opens up all kinds of new opportunities. Taking photos and videos and measuring it all, are just the basic needs. I create the wedding plan. Let the transformation begin.. 😊
