Tahoe weddings are breathtaking and incredible but these are some things to consider when planning your destination wedding in Lake Tahoe!

* Book Early. Summer & Fall are peak season for weddings in the Tahoe/Truckee region. Sometimes the most popular dates can already be taken 2 years in advance.
* Environment. You’ve brought people to higher altitude, the sun is stronger and Tahoe weather is constantly changing. Wind, rain and snow are all factors. And don’t forget wildfires too! Some venues have to shift plans if there is too much smoke!
* Permits & Regulations. In this region, there are many rules that need to be followed. Some venues are more flexible, but please check with them to see if what you have planned is allowed.
* Logistical challenges. Mountain venues with gondola rides can add to the logistical challenges for vendors, guests and rentals. Allow additional time and money to account for these elements.

Congratulations to Christina & David! 💍Christina put in hours and hours of blood, sweat and tears to bring her wedding vision to life! It was a scorcher of a day but everything went smoothly, guests were able to stay cool with cooling neck wraps, misting fans and chilled drinks and the dance floor was full once the sun went down! I vividly remember loving this movie when it was released when I was in middle school and never did I ever think I would end up living the life of ‘s character in the movie, The Wedding Planner with !
