Our community came together strongly to celebrate Juneteenth on 6/13/2026 at Central Park.
Thank you to all our sponsors, volunteers, members of the planning committee and the Minnesota Black Chamber of Commerce.
Over 500 people came to celebrate freedom.

Hassie Benjamin Haith Jr., known as 'Boston Ben,' the visionary designer of the iconic Juneteenth flag! As the founder of the National Juneteenth Celebration Foundation, Ben Haith played a pivotal role in raising awareness and celebrating the holiday. Beyond his artistic creation, he is a grassroots community activist, consistently advocating for racial justice, anti-crime initiatives, and police accountability since the 1980s.
