From the beginning stages of planning, Camille knew she didn’t want an event that felt like just another wedding… She wanted color. She wanted texture. She wanted guests to feel transported — like they had stepped into a lush, tropical dinner party somewhere far away.

So that’s exactly where we went.

Green velvet linens, natural wood, tropical foliage and some truly outrageous florals transformed The Heritage House into the most vibrant version of itself.

Years ago, I met Kennedy while selling weddings at the very venue where she’d one day say “I do.” Life had other plans—I wasn’t the one who booked her wedding there, but somehow, years later, we found our way back to one another and I was lucky enough to be the one who planned and brought it to life. Funny how things come full circle.

This day was so much more than beautiful. It was thoughtful, deeply personal, and timeless in every sense. Every detail had a story, every surprise was filled with intention, and every moment reflected exactly who Kennedy and Zach are. These are the weddings that stay with you. Lucky me. 🤍

DREAMING IN COLOR 🩷🧡💛💚

From the moment guests opened the invitation suite, it was clear Katie & Sam were creating something far beyond a beautiful wedding weekend.

Every detail felt considered in a way that was impossible to miss. The florals, saturated in shades of pink, orange, and green, completely transformed The Pearl Hotel, bringing warmth and richness to its iconic black-and-white backdrop. Long banquettes filled the space as though they had always belonged there. Soft patterned linens layered quietly beneath candlelight and overflowing blooms. And at the center of it all, a custom dance floor wrapped in Katie & Sam’s monogram grounded the entire design in color and personality.

Every detail felt sun-drenched. Intentional. Alive. The kind of wedding that stops you mid-scroll. The kind you can’t quite get out of your head.

On the eve of “I do,” Katie & Sam welcomed their nearest and dearest to the WaterColor BoatHouse, where Western Lake glistened at golden hour setting the most picturesque scene. Bursting with cheerful spring florals and layered with rich wood textures, paying homage to the BoatHouse’s charm, the evening felt effortlessly coastal yet undeniably elevated.

Between clinking glasses, incredible bites, and laughter that carried long into the night, it was the kind of gathering that feels as beautiful as it looks—a joyful prelude to the special day to come🤍
