I applied to become a participant for the upcoming Umpqua GrowthTalks pitch night!! My Better Together Events & Rentals was chosen as 1 of 6 🎉

My business NEEDS this! It's time to grow & I would love to be able to fulfill some needs in some event related areas in our community! This picture is a little sneak peak at my power point presentation.

I'd absolutely LOVE to have my people in the audience. Tickets are FREE. Pizza is also free and included. It's THIS THURSDAY. 5-8PM at Backside Brewing. However, the pitches don't start until 6. The first hour is social where pizza is served and there will be a chance to meet all participants at their tables.

I will be giving away a $100 gift certificate to one lucky attendee at my table! The other participants are all really great and they will all have things to share or offer as well.

You have an opportunity to help my business by voting for me as a crowd favorite, if you choose to. My goal is to make it to the final round in October for a chance to "win" funding for business growth. It's finally time to make this announcement 🥹

After 17 years of cake baking and designing, I've decided to officially hang up the apron and focus my time 💯 on my event rental business Better Together Events & Rentals

I will still be hobby baking/designing so will keep my page up to share my work. And occasionally I may do some holiday pop ups at my event rental showroom, downtown Roseburg.

I really appreciate you all! The support you've given me to be able to work from my home kitchen to provide very special treats for loved ones. It provided great income and flexibility for me to raise my kids and now the baby is ready to fly the coop.

So now, Mama needs an out of the house new baby to take care of so you will now find me at 549 SE Jackson St. There, I will be helping people save money on event items and able to also help others with event designing!! If you'd like to follow that social media page, I will keep you informed on all the new things as I continue to grow the business. With an event related gift boutique and occasionally hosting workshops, I hope to still be able to play a part in your special occasions!

I know this news is not the happiest for my regular clients of many years but I appreciate your understanding ❤️ Wishing you all many blessings and hope to work with you with my next entrepreneur adventure!

Hey friends, it's been awhile since I've been on my Sugar Buzz account 😳 I'm still grinding on my event rental business! It's been super busy & I'm loving it! I do miss my cake customers tho!! Although, I've enjoyed working with some of you with my event rentals!! 😍

I am creating goodies when my time allows. Here's a few pretty yummies. The last one being a brownie ice cream cake 🤤

I've been MIA, I'm sorry, friends. My event rental business has been keeping me extra busy since the new year started!! This means I haven't been able to take many new cake orders. The baking/cake designing journey is not coming to an end, so I do appreciate all your understanding and grace as I work towards finding a realistic balance between both businesses. I'm hoping I will be able to hire some help at some point so I can continue both ❤️

The rise in ingredient costs will start to reflect in my new pricing, and I'm not thrilled to have to add that. However, I am able to help you all save money with my event rental business!! So you can find me there most days Better Together Events & Rentals 😍 Renting your decorative party needs vs buying is where it's at now! Please don't ever hesitate to reach out regarding both my businesses 😀

I'm home from my family vacation!! It was magical! I came home with a soon to be daughter in love 😍 AND we had the best time celebrating my daughter's high school senior year with friends & family! I can't believe my last baby will be leaving our nest for college at the University of Oregon this fall. My husband and I are so proud of all 3 of them 💓

Trip highlights is drinking delicious cucumber jalapeño margaritas & time spent with my dad, we both conquered a heights fear & zip lined with the crew, we all celebrated the newly engaged couple, saw the most beautiful wildlife on our xcaret resort/park, watched monkeys play in the trees along our resort walks, traveled to Cozumel island, snorkeled & saw rainbow parrot fish, napped on the beach, swam in the ocean, played pool games, dined with our group of 20, rode atvs in the jungle, soaked up sunshine, and just had a great week away!

Thank you for all being patient with me while I get back to messages & recover from jet lag! I will be back in the event rental showroom this Wednesday, Feb. 12, and can communicate through DMs & phone calls before then if needed! Cake orders are on hold! I'm pretty overwhelmed with my event rental biz at the moment. However, I am working on orders already scheduled!

I'm so EXCITED to be able to get started on my daughter's graduation party & now my son's wedding on the horizon!! 😍 This year is going to be full of celebrations for my family also & I'm just so happy to be able to help you all with making your incredible celebrations magical too!!!!
