This Memorial Day, as we honor those who gave everything for our freedom, I'm excited to introduce myself and share something special with you all.

I'm Genelle McDonald, the new proprietor of the C.H. Bailey House here in the beautiful Umpqua Valley! After months of preparation, we're ready to welcome guests to experience the magic of Southern Oregon.

As summer approaches, there's no better time to escape to our cozy retreat. Picture yourself sipping morning coffee on the wraparound porch, exploring world-class wineries just minutes away, and falling asleep to the gentle sounds of nature.

Summer bookings are now open, and I can't wait to share our slice of paradise with fellow travelers and adventurers. Whether you're planning a romantic getaway, a wine country escape, or simply need to reconnect with nature, we're here to make your stay unforgettable.

Austin Slack with AJ's Catering is at the CH Bailey House to provide food when you book an event with us.

He is also available for catering throughout our community.

The Brenner suite is available for reservations.

The guest rooms in the main house are undergoing transformations and reopening to B&B guests this summer.

Another fabulous event at the CHBH this past weekend - Umpqua Valley Christian School's Jr/Sr Prom.
The decor was absolutely gorgeous, courtesy of Melissa Knapp. Her talent never ceases to amaze us.
The students were impeccably dressed and arrived courtesy of John of Touch of Class Limousine.

Lots of amazing things happening at the B&B.
A non-profit, League of Women Voters of Umpqua Valley, held their annual meeting here in May with an attendance of 50+ guests. Kris Wiley, Roseburg's Library Director, was the key-note speaker who shared all the amazing happenings at our local library and all the benefits to our community.
Appetizers, dinner and dessert were prepared by AJ's Catering. AJ will be available to provide catering for events at the CHBH and around town.
AJ prepared the offerings for meat-eaters, vegetarians and vegans.
