I want to take a moment to give a huge THANK YOU to the entire Twin Lakes team!
Over the last five days, we successfully pulled off FOUR weddings while navigating thunderstorms, rain, wind, muddy shoes, last-minute changes, and weather forecasts that seemed to change by the minute. Through it all, every single one of you showed up with positive attitudes, servant hearts, and a commitment to making each couple's day special.
What our couples see is a beautiful wedding day. What I see is the teamwork, dedication, flexibility, and countless hours that happen behind the scenes to make those moments possible. I am so proud of each of you.
Thank you to Brittney for wearing more hats than I can count this week. She helped keep our couples calm and reassured through every thunderstorm, gust of wind, and weather-related change. Her dedication to our couples and our team never goes unnoticed.
A special thank you to my mom, who stepped in wherever she was needed and worked long hours all week. I know she was tired, but she never complained and continued helping however she could. Her love and support means more than words can express.
Thank you to Paige for helping make The Reserve at 1902's first bar booking such a success! She kept the drinks flowing, the guests happy, and helped create an experience that everyone seemed to love.
Thank you to Marisa for keeping us laughing through it all. Sometimes a good laugh is exactly what a team needs when the weather is throwing curveballs, and she made sure our spirits stayed high.
Thank you to Lila for showing up, jumping in wherever needed, and being such a valuable part of our team. Your willingness to help and support everyone is greatly appreciated.
Thank you to Bethany for being such a sweet, easy-going member of our team. You always jump in and help wherever needed, and one of the greatest gifts you give is that I never have to tell you what to do. You see what needs to be done and take care of it. Your positive attitude, reliability, and servant's heart make you such a blessing to our team.
I also want to thank our amazing couples for continuing to trust us with one of the most important days of their lives. Even though we had a wedding on a Monday this week—a date that held special meaning for that couple—they were surrounded by family and friends who showed up to celebrate them, and it was such a blessing to witness.
One thing that never ceases to amaze me is how often there is a connection. Time and time again, we meet couples, families, and guests, only to discover mutual friends, shared stories, or paths that somehow cross. It reminds me that God knows exactly what He is doing. He brings these couples to us for a reason, and we are so honored to play a small part in such a meaningful chapter of their lives.
To every member of the Twin Lakes family—our team, our couples, their families, and our vendors—thank you. This week was not easy, but together we created beautiful memories that will last a lifetime.
I am truly blessed and grateful for each and every one of you.
