Part-Time Floral Shop Assistant

Position Overview
We are seeking a friendly, dependable, and creative Part-Time Floral Shop Assistant to join our team. This role involves assisting with floral arrangements, customer service, shop maintenance, and daily operations in a fast-paced floral environment.

Responsibilities

- Assist florists with creating and preparing floral arrangements and bouquets
- Process and care for fresh flowers and plants
- Help customers with floral selections and purchases
- Operate the cash register and process transactions
- Maintain a clean, organized, and attractive shop environment
- Receive and unpack flower deliveries
- Assist with holiday and special event preparation
- Support delivery preparation and order fulfillment

Qualifications

- Positive attitude and strong customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 pounds
- Floral experience is a plus but not required; training will be provided
- Availability to work weekdays, weekends, and holidays as needed

Schedule

- Part-time, approximately 12-15 hours per week
- Flexible scheduling available

- hourly pay based on experience & paid direct deposit bi-weekly
