Good Sunday morning. ☕️

It’s no secret I LOVE to thrift. I go through phases of what I’m searching for or “allowing” myself to bring home and then purging it all(okay, most all). 🔄 One of the hardest things for me to pass on or purge is anything handmade. Many of my most treasured things are one of a kind pieces created by artists I never knew. Maybe it was a one time craft they attempted or a really sentimental piece they gifted to a loved one. I know behind every piece is a real person who maybe never even realized the treasure they created…but maybe their work just hadn’t found its home. ❤️🏠

Obviously, I can’t save them all. ☹️

BUT.

I can pass them along to someone who can!🫵

Keeps me in the thrift. ✔️
Stops my house from becoming a hoard. ✔️
Saves handmade art from the landfill by finding its HOME. ✔️

Whenever I find pieces I just cannot leave behind, I’m going to post them here until they find their home. 🤗

This first piece is just so sweet, I couldn’t. 🥹 The chosen colors and the dark wood frame are very well done. I just know someone was so proud of this little framed piece.
It would be a great gift for the newlyweds or in a congratulatory new home gift basket…

One could see this photo and keep scrolling. Maybe think, “yum, cookies” and scroll.

The other owns a farmstand and when running out to simply straighten the place up, she sees the sun’s rays hitting the PB Blossoms and the chocolate kisses kissing the tops of the package. She immediately thinks, “OH. Soft warm cookies”. 🤤
