Trying to get things in the ground when temperatures won’t cooperate is frustrating, but we’re doing what we can, when we can! Tonight I set up our mini greenhouse with lisianthus and zinnias while Brian planted more herbs and “just a few” tomato plants. Make sure to be checking yourself and your pets for ticks, those suckers are everywhere!

Spring cleanup is in full gear! I have the insane idea of making this area, currently the compost pile, into a useable space. Today I removed decades of bricks, cement blocks, random metal stakes. Next we’ll burn down any leftover leaves and debris, give it a good mix, then spread, spread, spread. It’s my favorite time of year; let’s go!
