For most of my career, I wasn’t coaching venue owners.

I was one.

For 18 years, I owned and operated a wedding venue, hosting more than 800 weddings and welcoming well over 100,000 guests through our doors. What started as a barn became a destination venue, multiple hospitality businesses, and a career that changed my life.

Along the way, I built seven businesses, generated over $1 million in annual revenue, managed teams, navigated economic downturns, survived industry shifts, adapted through COVID, and ultimately built a business valuable enough to sell.

Today, I help venue owners and wedding professionals do the same.

What makes me different from many venue coaches is simple:

I didn’t build a coaching business and then start teaching venue owners.

I built a venue business first.

For nearly two decades, I was the person answering the inquiries, giving the tours, handling difficult clients, hiring staff, creating packages, raising prices, managing cash flow, cleaning bathrooms, solving emergencies, dealing with vendors, marketing the business, and making payroll.

I’ve lived every season of venue ownership:

✨ Starting from scratch

✨ Growing and scaling

✨ Hiring and leading teams

✨ Creating profitable packages

✨ Managing burnout

✨ Navigating difficult clients

✨ Weathering economic uncertainty

✨ Building multiple revenue streams

✨ Selling a successful venue

Today, I specialize in helping venue owners create stronger businesses, better systems, more profitable pricing, increased bookings, and long-term exit strategies.

Because owning a venue isn’t just about beautiful weddings.

It’s about building a sustainable business that supports your life, your family, and your future.

After 30+ years in hospitality and 18 years in the wedding industry, I’m passionate about helping the next generation of venue owners avoid costly mistakes and build businesses they truly love.

If you’re a venue owner, aspiring venue owner, wedding professional, or creative entrepreneur, I’d love to connect.

I’m Dixie Bagley.

I have one wedding left. After 18 years of nonstop weddings.
Not one wedding left to work.
One wedding left connected to a place that held nearly two decades of my life.
And maybe that’s the strangest part of all.
The ending isn’t really about a business closing or ownership changing hands.
It’s about stepping away from a place where I was given a front row seat to thousands of moments I otherwise never would have known or expected.

Turning the page on a business that helped build the woman I am today

05/11/2026

A little self reflection lately has turned into a pretty big realization…

Nobody tells you how many lives you’ll live as a woman.

Mother.Builder.Survivor.Leader.Business owner.Caretaker.And now somehow… grandmother.

As I’ve stepped into this next season of life, I’ve realized that every chapter of my life — the hard ones, the beautiful ones, the exhausting ones, the successful ones — somehow led me exactly where I needed to be.

Not always where I planned. But where I was meant to grow next.

What started as quietly spending more time in Montana has naturally evolved into deeper conversations around community, hospitality, leadership, business, and purpose while still continuing to serve the incredible clients and businesses I’ve built relationships with throughout the hospitality and wedding industries over the years.

And maybe that’s the lesson in all of this:we do not have to abandon one version of ourselves to become another.

We are allowed to evolve. To expand. To begin again. To keep becoming.
