As I sit and reflect on this year’s Fourth of July celebration, my heart is simply full.
On behalf of our entire Fourth of July Committee, I want to personally thank everyone who had a hand in making this celebration such an incredible success. Whether you volunteered your time, sponsored the event, worked behind the scenes, performed, marched in the parade, served as a first responder, represented a local organization, or simply came out to celebrate with your family—you made a difference.
I’ve had the privilege of seeing firsthand the countless hours, hard work, and love that go into making this event happen. So much takes place long before the first parade entry rolls down Main Street or the first firework lights up the sky. It truly takes an entire community, and I couldn’t be more proud of ours.
This year was especially meaningful as we began celebrating America’s 250th anniversary. Looking out at the crowds, seeing neighbors reconnect, children waving flags, and families making memories reminded me why this tradition means so much to all of us.
Thank you for believing in this celebration and for making Rogersville shine. Serving alongside such an amazing committee and such a caring community has been an honor I’ll always cherish.
From my heart, thank you for making this year’s Fourth of July one we’ll never forget. We are already excited and hard at work planning an even bigger and better celebration in 2027.
