Sydney has helped second shoot weddings with me and it’s a pretty neat experience when another creative wants YOU to be the one to capture their creative ideas too.

The sweetie little compliments passed between these two during their session had my heart giggling. 🤭 🤍

We ended the sesh with a quick little 5 minute photo session at their local watering hole and I tried Syds go to — a pickle-back tequila shot. DO NOT KNOCK IT UNTIL YOU TRY IT!

I don’t get to second shoot weddings very often, but when I do, it is always such a treat to be able to take a step back from the lead role and learn from other creatives.

The POV of a second shooter is so fun, because it gives me an opportunity to slow down and get creative angles that I wouldn’t maybe have had the time to think of as the lead.

Lu & Hunters wedding day was definitely one where I was alllllll heart eyes! 😍

Everything about their day screamed, effortless & luxurious which has been some of my favorite styles of weddings to photograph thus far.

The butter yellow dresses were giving Andy Anderson and I was hear for it. What a fun group of people to hangout with. What a lovely lovely lovely day.

Pretty sure the hotel lobby employees have me on their X list because you’re not supposed to use flash 😬😬😬 I guess rebel Madalyn was in full swing last Saturday and selfishly, I’m glad she came out to play… because just look at these!! Sorry to all the hotel employees that came up to me 😂🫠🤫

Such a cool feeling when you’re so proud of your work, and it’s an even better feeling when your clients are even prouder that they chose you to capture one of the best days of their lives.

I have so many gorgeous couples I want to share on here but imposter syndrome has been at an all time high lately! Sometimes I just wonder if people think I’m good enough or I just compare and then I get stuck in a “no posting spree.”

Today I said screwwwwwwww it. I’m going to post away!because I love my couples, I love the photos I get to take and it makes me happy to share.

Don’t let doubt win friends. Often times, we forget how talented we really are. 🤍
