A little first-course moment from a recent private dinner.
Citrus-cured ahi tuna layered over crostini with capers, pickled onion, microgreens, and a bright orange zest finish. Served alongside simple cucumber salad and warm toasted bread. Fresh, clean, and the kind of dish that quietly steals the table before the main course even arrives.

MAYDAY! MAYDAY!
Our radar shows a distinct lack of burgers on your table, and frankly, we’re a little concerned. 🍔🧐
What’s the hold-up? Are you stuck in a terminal? Checking a bag? Just lost in the sauce? Whatever it is, abort mission and get down here!
Come for the burger, but stay for the "Bigger Than Your Face" cookies. Seriously—they’re massive. If you can still see your friends while eating one, you aren’t doing it right. 🍪🙈

Did you know.....
According to a January 2026 U.S. Department of Agriculture report, Arkansas is ranked as the most food-insecure state in the nation for the third consecutive year. Roughly 19.4% of households (nearly one in five) struggled to access sufficient food between 2022 and 2024, the highest rate in the U.S.
A February 2026 Arkansas Health Survey suggested a much higher localized figure of 28.8% for adults.
Arkansas's food insecurity rate is significantly higher than the national average, making it the most challenged state in the country regarding consistent access to nutritious food.
Now you might ask yourself what you can do to help, this week is NWA Burger Week! Cockpit Cafe along with 36 other restaurants are selling featured burgers for $12 this week, $1 from every sale goes to the NWA Food Bank thanks to . This is an amazing organization.
I bet you also didn't know that monetary donations to food banks go much further than food donations! Food banks can often turn a $1 donation into 3 to 5 meals because they buy in bulk and have access to wholesale prices that the average grocery shopper doesn't.
So get out there and try a burger today, you might be keeping a child from going hungry!

Get ready to sink your teeth into something special!
NWA Burger Week is officially here starting today and going through May 9 we are serving up a massive tribute to local flavor.
We’ve teamed up with The Hangry Peddler for this year’s inaugural event, and our featured entry is a heavy hitter: The Runway Razorback.
This isn't your average cheeseburger. We start with a juicy, single handmade patty and stack it high with tender smoked brisket tossed in our signature house-made peach bourbon BBQ sauce, melted Gouda for a rich, smoky finish, house-made slaw, pickled jalapenos for the perfect kick and garlic aioli on a toasted, buttery brioche bun.
What makes it taste even better?
One dollar from every Runway Razorback goes directly to the NWA Food Bank to help support our neighbors in need.
