🌅 Worth Waking Up For: A Forever Kind of Sunrise

Some mornings are simply worth getting up for. And this one? Absolutely. ❤️

My alarm went off at 4:30 AM, and by 6:00 I was barefoot on Wrightsville Beach, ready to witness something incredibly special.

This morning at Shell Island, Access #2, with the waves rolling in and the sky beginning to wake up around us, I had the honor of joining this beautiful couple as they made their commitment to forever.

There is something especially meaningful about choosing sunrise for a moment like this. A sunrise is a reminder that every day offers a new beginning—and today, these two chose to begin another chapter of their lives together.

No big production was needed. Just two people, the ocean, a bouquet of beautiful flowers, heartfelt words, a few happy tears and laughter—and a promise to keep choosing one another. ❤️

What an honor to be invited into such an intimate moment. These are the mornings that remind me exactly why I love what I do.

✨ Every beautiful ceremony begins with a vision. ✨

For this wedding, Angie, affectionately known as Ms. Pearl, owner and lead designer of Southern Pearl Weddings & Decorating, created a ceremony design that beautifully reflected the couple’s faith, love, and commitment.

The floral-adorned cross served as the focal point of the ceremony, symbolizing the foundation of their marriage. Beneath it, the Three-Strand Cord display represented the joining of two lives with God at the center. To create a cohesive design, Angie carried the same soft palette of blush roses, lavender hydrangeas, ivory blooms, and lush greenery throughout the space, including the stunning alcove floral installations.

The alcove florals weren’t simply decorative accents—they extended the ceremony design beyond the altar, creating balance, depth, and a seamless flow throughout the space. By repeating colors, textures, and floral elements, every detail worked together to tell one beautiful story.

Once the design was complete, Ms. Pearl and the Pearl Team brought the vision to life, carefully implementing every floral and decorative element to transform the ceremony space into a breathtaking setting filled with beauty, meaning, and purpose.
