We want to take a moment to celebrate 🥳 how far we have come and what YOU have helped us accomplish in just over a year!
In June 2025, we officially became a nonprofit organization—a milestone made possible by our hard work coupled with YOUR generous donations, which raised $500!
(The year was so busy, we forgot to celebrate our 1 year nonprofit anniversary! This is actually our 3rd year as an organization.🙌)
When we announced membership shortly after, our goal was to have 40 family memberships to afford insurance. You helped us meet that goal by January 2026, in just 4 months!
Since January, we have grown to over 70 family memberships. 😍 That represents roughly 175 students, and over 200 total members including parents! What an absolute blessing.
Looking back on the whole school year:
🏛We had our 1st large, historical field trip with over 70 adults and children attending.
🐎We visited a local horse farm.
🛩We visited local businesses and learned about planes and trains 🚄 through touching, riding, and even playing simulators!
💃🕺We launched our first annual formal for local homeschool teens.
🎓We partnered with Ferrum College for our 2nd annual K & 12 homeschool graduation ceremony.
📚🔖And we held our 3rd Annual Curriculum sale!
WHEW! 😮💨 We did a lot together! 😁
Our new school year is starting a little behind schedule, but it is for a great reason: we need a larger, regular space to gather! This is a wonderful problem to have. 😊 We are currently working on a rental that will provide us with a registered, consistent location for classes, general meetings, and special events.
