There’s something different about sitting down and listening to an album from beginning to end, NO SKIPS. 🎶

I stopped by a No Skips session at Larema Coffee House in Downtown Wilson, and this time, we went back to a CLASSIC: Usher’s Confessions. 🔥

Ayeeedubb did her thing taking us through the album, but what made the night even better was the experience around the music. I teamed up with two new friends, Saptosa & Chenoa, and somewhere between coloring, Yeah!, Confessions, Burn, Superstar, and everything else… we ended up having some wonderful conversations.

That's what I love about music. You can walk into a room not knowing somebody, then a familiar song starts playing and suddenly everybody has a story. 💯

Good music. Coloring. Conversation. New connections. No Skips.

I had a GREAT time, and I'll definitely be back for the next one. 👏🏾

Now the question is… what album should they do next? 👀🎧

Glow Flow Yoga at Box Hause was a whole vibe! Caroline led the flow 🧘🏾‍♀️, I had the pleasure of setting the mood through the music 🎧, and Art Of Sound Entertainment brought the GLOW. ✨

I love moments like this! When the music becomes part of the experience and the energy in the room just connects.

Friday, October 23rd, I’m bringing an ArtRob The HeartThrob DJ set to Downtown Public House in Downtown Wilson, NC from 8:30–11:30 PM!

This one is going to be a little different. I’ll be digging into some of the music that I genuinely LOVE like disco, jazz-inspired hip-hop, Top 40 favorites, throwbacks, and a few records you might not expect. Good music with room to vibe, move, nod your head, discover something new…and maybe ask, “Yo, what song is THIS?” 🎶

No karaoke screen. No hiding behind the piano. 😂
Just me, the decks, and three hours to take y’all on a musical ride.

🍂 Tarboro, I’m coming back — and this time, we’re getting our day! 🎶🌱

Earlier this year in the spring, I was supposed to DJ an event at the East Tarboro Eco Garden, but Mother Nature had other plans. That entire weekend was a COMPLETE washout. 🌧️😂

But we’re running it back!

I had the opportunity to DJ the Grand Opening of the East Tarboro Eco Garden last year, and I met some amazing people and had an absolute BLAST. So I already know what kind of energy Tarboro brings. This time, expect it to be BIGGER and BETTER!

Providing the soundtrack while the entire room FLOWED. 🎶🧘🏾‍♀️✨

I recently had the opportunity to DJ an Inside Flow Glow Yoga class, and this one was definitely different from my usual events.

Art Of Sound Entertainment provided the music AND the glow, helping transform the room into an experience. 💜💙💚

It was interesting learning what Inside Flow Yoga is, but what really caught my attention was watching the entire flow unfold. The music wasn’t just playing in the background, the movement, timing, energy and music all worked together.

From behind the DJ booth, I got to watch the room move through the music, almost like one big choreographed performance.

Different kind of dance floor.
Different kind of crowd.
Same job: provide the vibes. 🎧

And I can definitely say… DJing yoga was a vibe.

🎤⚡ THUNDER & LIGHTNING CAME TO KARAOKE VIBES! ⚡🎤

And judging by this picture… they understood the assignment! 😂

Thunder & Lightning showed up Saturday night ready to sing, laugh, have a good time, and enjoy the Vibes. They kept coming back to the mic with everything from Everybody and Boom Boom Pow to Thriller, Bottoms Up, Fire Burning and Hotel Room Service. 🎶🔥

But THIS is what Karaoke Vibes is really about. You don’t have to be a professional singer. You just need a song you love, a little courage, and people around you ready to cheer you on.

They had themselves a GREAT time — and the best part is, they shared that good time with all of us. ❤️
