Nestled in the hills of the Laurel Highlands, The Hayloft provides a quaint country setting for any special occasion. From the criss-cross board fence and island gazebo to the towering colonial pillars and lush landscape, the 150 acre Svonavec Farm proves aesthetic to any wandering eye. Built in 1886, the historic barn offers hand-hewn beams and original plank floor, creating an inviting yet comfo

rtable atmosphere for your event. With a seating capacity of 250 guests, a stage proves ideal for head table seating, guest speakers, or musical and theatrical productions. Our spacious deck overlooks the farm's serene setting and is home to the bar and most recently, the addition of a repurposed grain bin turned fire pit sitting area, perfect to warm up on cool mountain evenings. Easily accessible from both the Somerset and Donegal exits of the PA Turnpike, The Hayloft is situated approximately 60 miles east of Pittsburgh. Only 7 miles from Seven Springs Resort and a short drive from numerous state parks and attractions, many opportunities exist for ease in travel and lodging as well as entertainment suitable for even the most discriminating tastes. From season to season, The Hayloft affords a picturesque backdrop for your event and years of fond memories.
