S&K Party Hack #12: Borrow 10% Bold

If you’re shy, you don’t have to become the hype person — just borrow 10% of their energy and let your body move before your brain overthinks it. When you walk in, act quickly by waving, saying “What’s up,” or giving a simple compliment before self-doubt kicks in. Position yourself near the DJ, the game table, or the loud laughers, because confidence is contagious and proximity makes it easier to join in. Finally, commit to just 10 seconds of boldness — ask one question, play one round, or dance for one chorus — and then give yourself permission to reset.
