Now's the time to order your tickets, apply for a sponsorship and/or ministry expo display space. This unique, annual gathering of Christ-followers across Connecticut has been held for decades.

One high-profile non-profit leader describes this event as a "family reunion," a beautiful assembly of individuals, couples, churches, ministries and businesses who enthusiastically gather to literally Celebrate Jesus and what He has, is and will do through WIHS for His Kingdom sake!

The final leg of the 30-year journey of Jacob's Well ended today in a beautiful fashion. A happy ending, indeed! Walter Santos, Dave Pettigrew, Arno Groot and the new WIHS In His Service praise band drilled it! And at least one soul was saved during the final Jacob's Well gospel message and invitation. Praise God!

Many are sad to see Jacob's Well go, but are eager to see what the Lord does with the WIHS Amphitheater in the days, months and years ahead. Today's "test of concept" was excellent! Thanks to all involved, and especially our Creator!

We were setting up the grass parking lots today for tomorrow's Grand Finale at WIHS, and the weather was spectacular. So was the setting. This is a gorgeous place for an amphitheater, and to host an outdoor concert. Mid-80s, partly sunny with a nice 9 mph breeze.

Please join us! The event begins promptly at 1 pm, so it's best to try to get there around 12 noon to give you some margin for traffic etc. Parking and admission are free.

The weather forecast is looking good this Saturday, for the Grand Finale of Jacob's Well at the WIHS Amphitheater, 1933 South Main Street in Middletown, CT. The event starts at 1 pm and ends at 4 pm featuring Walter Santos, David Pettigrew, In His Service (a new praise band) and Arno Groot. The Gospel will be declared, too!

Day by day, the pieces are coming together for the Grand Finale of Jacob's Well Christian Coffeehouse at the WIHS Ampitheater in Middletown on Saturday, July 19 from 1 to 4 pm.

Last night, the new WIHS praise band, In His Service, rehearsed for the first time in preparation for this event. The initial makeup of the band, which will likely change over time, consists of (l to r) Cat Leigh from Bristol and Gerry Williams from Hartford on vocals, Daniel Harper from Ellington on keyboards, and Drew Crandall from Ellington on Latin Percussion. The group will play one song toward the end of the event, which will be Way Maker!
