Fresh flowers always win and we love getting flower orders. These were special for our clients celebrating their anniversary. Reintroducing myself as we have new followers. I’m Andrea, owner of Picnic & Unwind. This is me trying to be cute, but I look like my knees hurt lol I swear they do sometimes for no apparent reason.
I started this business to bring joy to others and to relive special memories I had when I was a kid of connecting with Pachamama (Mother Earth in Quechua). I’m a Bolivian American and have lived in the DMV for my entire life here in America. I love all things chocolate, cheese, and wine. I also love to dance and taught Zumba back in the day before I injured myself and had to leave it for my former corporate job that demanded more hours from me. Starting this business and leaving the corporate world was important for my physical and mental health. Now, I am truly dedicating my time not only to the business, but also to healing myself. Thanks for coming to my Ted talk!
