I was happy to be asked back to shoot Meghan’s bridal shower after photographing Brendan’s proposal to Meghan on the beach last year. It was a beautiful flower & love filled shower at the Union at Eisenhower Park (highly recommended this venue! The service they provided was impeccable and the room was so pretty!) It was also wonderful seeing so many familiar, smiling faces there! Showers of happiness to the lovely couple!

And we’ve made it to the end of Bridget & Eamon’s wedding celebrations. Wrapped up with a small luncheon at upstairs room for a few family and friends, with a fabulous cake and lots of love and laughs. Congratulations to the happy couple- wishing them a lifetime of happiness!

After their mass, we took a few pictures (as one does) in front of the church and on the way to their reception luncheon. Lucky for us, there were some quite photogenic stops on the way. It’s no Disney, but it was still good. And of course, we had to get the family tradition silhouette shot in front of the church doors. Mom & Dad had it, I shot it for Catie & Austin and Meghan & Erich too.

Finally, a senior BOY! They are really few and far between for photos. I’ve been photographing this specific boy since he was a newborn and now he’s graduating high school. Way to feel old! Plus, I graduated high school with his mom. A full circle kinda moment. Congratulations to Jack on University of Hartford- they’re lucky to have you!

Congratulations to Natalie on her very well earned graduation from Iona University! She had enough cords for like 5 graduates. I was also happy to meet (and photograph) her boyfriend, a very nice guy. Iona is such a cute campus too. Looking forward to a bright future for Natalie!

I first photographed Miss E when she was graduating from elementary school and now I’m photographing her graduating from high school! She needed some specific shots for sorority recruitment at the University of Alabama where she’ll be starting this fall. So excited for her and for this next chapter! Maybe I’ll have to fly down to capture her next graduation in 4 years?! Also, proud to say that we made it thru the session with no assassination attempts as she is in the middle of senior assassin season.

Bridget & Eamon at St Agnes Cathedral for their sacrament of marriage. It was a beautiful Mass with the choir accompaniment and my brother in law on the bagpipes outside. Congratulations again to the happy couple!

A multi purpose post. I’ve loved photographing this family and am lucky to have done so for many years. They booked a session with me last fall mostly because their big giant Great Dane Otis didn’t have much longer left in this world and they wanted to capture him while he was still vibrant and bouncy even though he was pretty sick already. That dog gave his family (and pretty much everyone) every ounce of love he had and got it all right back. He never had an unloved day in his life. I think that’s a pretty great legacy. I will definitely miss him at our sessions. A lap dog who had literally no idea he was technically too big to be one and could bounce all day long. I’d like to think the last picture is of him bouncing across the rainbow bridge into happiness forever.

Also, Christa is running for RVC board of education and elections are tomorrow. Please get out and vote for her!! She is smart as a whip, compassionate, knowledgeable, involved, has a deep financial background, is the current high school pta president, is a special ed representative with kids in rvc schools. And I know she’d be the perfect person for a board position. Cause what we now have is for sure NOT working.

A few shots from (before) Rebecca’s first communion. She had herself a full on session in the church before her actual communion day. It’s always good to get to wear a favorite, fancy dress more than once, dontcha think?

When you get married at Disney World, it’s in an ecumenical chapel (with an amazing view of Cinderella Castle!) which is all kinds of wonderful. But if it’s important to you, in order to be married officially in the Catholic Church with a full mass, you gotta get that done in your own parish at home. So they did. And so I took pictures. My favorite part was the newest first look with the reflection in the piano.

Congratulations again to the happy couple. More from their St. Agnes wedding on the way so stay tuned.
