If you ask what’s on my mind I would have to truthfully say “mixed feelings”. The perfect garden, still in my mind, has sprouted into a w**d filled expanse. If I lean in close there are blooms to be found, some fully formed, some yet unfolded. Yellow sunflowers, orange lilies, all beautiful, all heralding fall.
Today I created a sunflower bud, not quite open, but well on its way.
Enjoy these beautiful days. Eat cupcakes every day!!!

Cupcakes for a family gathering. A housewarming. Decorated to appeal to the youngest member, a young lady just turned 15. Many memories as I piped. Three generations who frequented the cafe, a tiny girl of, perhaps, four…suddenly grown.
