Established in 1979, the Catered Affair (TCA) is well-known for delighting clients across New England with custom culinary experiences and exceptional service. Founder Holly Safford started TCA right out of her kitchen with a few cookbook recipes. Safford's sons, Andrew and Alex Marconi, have carried on their mother's vision for excellence as a long-standing wedding caterer while also growing the

company's presence in corporate, non-profit and educational event markets. TCA attributes its success to three important factors: brilliant food, flawless service and stunning venues. Its exclusive venue partners include the world-renowned Boston Public Library, Harvard Art Museums and the Institute of Contemporary Art/Boston, and preferred venue partners include the Newport mansions. Our team is a trusted catering leader that has had the privilege to create memorable occasions in some of the world's most treasured cultural and artistic institutions.

Kasey and Guy’s unforgettable museum wedding was a true work of art, featured in Boston Magazine’s Real Weddings and beautifully captured in 2023.

When choosing a wedding venue, Guy sought a location that offered a meaningful experience for their guests. “Guests could wander through the galleries during cocktail hour,” he says of the Harvard Art Museums.
