Handicap assignment

-4= 4/5 league player
-5= 6/7/8 league player
Handicap changes
-FIRST AND FOREMOST, it is up to the league operator on handicap assignment from the beginning to end NO EXCEPTIONS!
-I do not want to be too vocal on behind the scenes handicap movement as it begs for people to abuse the system and “bag” but you will be notified the week prior of potential movement and a loss does not guarantee non-movement.
-In a perfect world, straight races is the only handicap system without flaws. I understand this and am willing to hear all appeals to movement, but this league is set up keep everyone in a general handicap, meaning that if you sometimes shoot like a 5 and sometimes a 4 it’s highly likely you will be moved up and down in rank multiple times a session.
Weekly dues
-$20 per player per week
-You are allowed to roll dues over one week, however this can only be done 3 times in the session.
-If you are back dues more than 2 weeks, YOU WILL BE REMOVED FROM LEAGUE AND FORFEIT RIGHTS TO PRIZE MONEY/DUES PAID TO THAT POINT, unless you are given specific permission by the league operator!
-Zelle, Venmo, PayPal, and cash/check are the only acceptable payment methods
8 on the break pot
-$30 a week goes into an “8 on the break pot” which is a rolling pool of money that is accumulated over the session and carries over each week it is not awarded. All pockets count and must be reported with the scores and signed by both opponents! If by chance this is not hit by end of session, the money will be dispersed to each player who did not place in the money.
Weekly winner pools
-shutouts only
-$180 pot split between all players in weekly shutout pool
Break and run pot
-$20 a week goes into the “Break and run pot” which is a rolling pool of money that is accumulated over the session and carries over each week it is not awarded. This is only BREAK and runs, not table runs! If by chance this is not hit by end of session, the money will be dispersed to each player who did not place in the money.
Weekly play
-You will know who you are playing each week at the start of the session, full schedule will be available.
-31 weeks allows everyone to play each other once in the session
-slotted time on Sundays at Porters Pub in Rockland at 1pm, 2pm, 3pm, 4pm, 5pm, 6pm, 7pm, and 8pm.
-There is no shot clock but quick play is crucial as people are expecting to start on time.
-TABLE ETIQUETTE IS A STRICT POLICY!!
Find a chair and sit in it while you aren’t playing. Use the bathroom on your turn only. Do not talk to your opponent. SHARKING WILL NOT BE TOLERATED AND CAN RESULT IN A LOSS OF MATCH!
Make-up matches
-Understandable that people are busy at times and cannot make their match on Sunday
-make-up is allowed anywhere, any day but must be completed within 2 weeks.
-These should be completed on a 9-foot table unless absolutely necessary otherwise.
-league operator must be notified prior to 12pm on Sunday if a match is going to be rescheduled. I can help arrange make-up match time and location, and I can also adjust matches for the Sunday slots, so please adhere to this as best we can.
