A few years ago, she received the call every loving mother dreads. Her son, his fiancé, and their children had been involved in a fatal car accident.

There are some moments that change life forever. But somewhere in the middle of that pain, purpose found her.

Through The TLLJ Thomas Family Foundation, Denita Thomas found a way to turn grief into something meaningful. With the help and support of her family she continues to keep their love and legacy alive while creating an impact that reaches beyond her own family.

On September 19th, that purpose brought family, friends and supporters together for The Evening of Grace Gala.

A beautiful night filled with laughter, memories, love, and celebration. ❤️

You ran into somebody you havn’t seen in years, met a few new faces, ate good, laughed a little too loud, and next thing you know, you're one of the last ones leaving!

Sometimes you don't even realize how much you needed a night out around good people until you're there. ❤️🥂
