Returning for the first time since 2022 is the nationally-acclaimed Peacherine Ragtime Society Orchestra. Peacherine is the "premier American Ragtime ensemble" as hailed by The Washington Post, and performs all over the country performing America's original music: Ragtime, and accompanying silent films with their historic orchestral scores.

Peacherine will appear Friday September 11th underscoring the silent film SHERLOCK JR starring Buster Keaton with the original 1924 score, perform on the platform of the East Broad Top Railroad's Orbisonia Station Saturday September 12 from 9:30am to 10:15am, and then be the star entertainment for the Ragtime at the Railroad Dinner Train at 5:30PM!

New to our festival this year are the Community Bands of Westmoreland County, appearing on Saturday September 12 only at our 11:30am concert! This community band features members from all over Western Pennsylvania, and their repertoire includes many American classics, which will be featured during their 45 minute set!
