That’s a wrap…tonight was our last night in this space… the space that didn’t have walls when we first saw it and quickly signed the lease…(how does that feel like yesterday and a lifetime as the same time?!) but today it was hard leaving… this place that we grew into always felt like home for us.
Moving in and having Nolan hanging out in the pack & play….his first steps, playing “store” with him while we were actually working the store, setting up Christmas decorations with my family on late night floor set changes, meeting so many of you amazing brides and customers who are now life long friends… this space holds so many memories, echos of laughter, happy tears, prayers, painful tears, hugs, conversations about big dreams and goals… and tonight as we left Nolan walked around the shop hugging the pillars, walls and windows saying goodbye with tears…we have all so loved this space…my favorite memory will always be the way Nolan’s feet sound when running on the floors of the shop… it’s just a echo of a sound in my mind but one of my favorites and something I will always cherish.
Thank you for all your support friends, this has been the most beautiful journeys and I am so very thankful to have been able to create something special in this space, to create a small part of history in this space and look forward to all the new and beautiful things ahead for this space.
It’s been a goal that when I close a chapter in my life that I have made space or a path for someone else and I am very excited for as us closing London Ave made a space for her new business! If you haven’t started following her yet feel free to check out her feed as she is the next tenant at 214 East State….even as our doors close a new and exciting door opens for her and that is the beauty of life friends 🤍

But with that I am thankful to have some space to figure out what is next, soak up time with Matt & Nolan, and hopefully kickstart the best year… so here is to 2023! 🎉 I hope it’s the best year for you all as well 🥰🥰🥰

✨thankful ✨

Currently sorting through feelings…today was such a beautiful way to end this chapter of my life and I am beyond thankful for all the support, love, encouragement, prayers, tears, laughs and memories made.
I think it’s perfect that tomorrow is Thanksgiving… a day that is focused on gratitude…because that is the primary emotion I feel.
Thank you to our couples, loyal customers, small business neighbors, my incredible employees over the years, the city of Rockford, incredible mentors who have offered such great advice over the years, and most importantly my family… I truly have never walked a single step of this journey alone and I am forever grateful for you believing in me and London Avenue…

I will keep you all updated on the fun things we have coming up… what this Instagram page is turning into and updates on our families journey…
But until then please know I am thankful for all of you, your support and friendship… you have made a difference in my life and I am so very thankful 🤍

✨Last Day ✨

Today is the last day of the shop… everything is 50% off in the store with the exception of the floral and holiday candles 🤍
We will have bouquets and some last min arrangements while supplies last too!
Stop on in, pick up some goodies for Thanksgiving or knock out some early Holiday shopping! We have lots of things that would make great stocking stuffers still too! 🥰✨

✨New Beginnings ✨
Yesterday was our last “normal” Saturday in the shop… and it was a great day, the snow was falling, people were shopping and all fell right in the little shop! I have so loved seeing you all, giving hugs, and catching up as we end this chapter. You have no idea what it has meant to me to have so many of you come in for our final days at London Ave 🤍
But there are new BIG and exciting things happening for the other two women in this photo and I am so excited to announce we will be open for Stroll on State! 🎄🎉✨
I am hosting an Open House in London Ave as a way for you guys to meet & as they launch their new businesses at the start of 2023 🎉
They will both have items to sell so you can get a sense of what they will have to offer when they open snd I couldn’t be more excited for them!
We will be open 2-8 for stroll so come on in and say hello! Grab some treats in the greenhouse while supplies last, shop for some Christmas Gifts and goodies and come meet these incredible new business ladies! 🤍🤍🤍

✨Final Important Dates ✨

It’s hard to believe it’s here but this week is our final week of regular store hours… We are open Thursday - Saturday 10 am -3 pm
With this week being our final week of being open for regular hours…Everything is 40% off in the shop and all of our furniture and displays are for sale as well this week. It’s all first come first serve so feel free to message us if you have had your eye on anything or stop in the shop a final time to shop our liquidation sale ✨
Here are a couple dates to keep in mind:

✨November 17th - Free Bouquet Day ( bring in a $10 elementary toy donation for some amazing local kids who could use some toys this holiday season and receive a free bouquet!)

✨Nov 18th & 19th - open regular hours.

✨November 23rd - Final day open to pick up Thanksgiving bouquets and arrangements & shop any remaining merchandise 🤍

✨November 26th - Open House for Stroll on State ( more on that event in our shop coming soon)

After that we are hosting our workshops that you guys sold out so quickly & working on moving out of the space… so be sure to mark your calendars to stop in before we leave… sending you all so much love and hope you are having the best start to your week 🤍🤍🤍

|| Spaces + Chapters ||

A lot of you have been asking how I have been doing with closing London Avenue in the next couple weeks..so here are some thoughts I have been having…
This has been one of the most interesting seasons… I feel the heaviness of ending something I spent years dreaming, creating and building and also a feeling of accomplishment knowing I did everything I could in this season to do my best for our customers and community… I am starting to feel a feeling of peace in finally creating space to do the best I can for myself physically, emotionally and spiritually… but some days I feel that more than others and some days are easier than others … and it’s a process that’s unfolding for sure ✨
I don’t fully know what the future looks like, I do know this season and space of rest for myself is meaningful and I am looking forward to it + looking forward to healing and spending time with my family…
But I will miss this space, this has been a beautiful chapter of my life and I am so thankful to have had the opportunity to be a part of this community, to meet so many of you, to work closely along side you as you plan your events, homes and celebrations… it’s meant more than you know.
Our final day of the shop being open for regular shopping is Wednesday, November 23rd so feel free to call or message us about custom orders, thanksgiving arrangements or just stop in and say “hi” and soak up the shop one more time ✨

You guys…. I am so excited to have these available starting tomorrow in the store front for you!
We love our friends for pouring these candles that 100% smell like the flower shop during the holidays 🤍
It’s hard to believe we only have 3 weeks left of London Avenue and I am beyond thankful for all of your support! I love seeing all your faces in the store front getting your bouquets, gifts and goodies and am truly soaking in these finals days ✨
