Happy Anniversary to these two! 🧡

Some couples come into your life for a wedding. And some somehow become part of your story along the way.

I had the privilege of working with these two for years before we ever made it to their wedding day. In that time, we went through cross-country moves, job changes, a move back across the country, a global pandemic that changed ALL the plans…and eventually, one pretty incredible wedding day.

And because apparently one celebration wasn’t enough, I even got to be there for their vow renewal. 🥰

Now, years later, there are two beautiful babies added to their story, and I still get to watch and celebrate right along with them.

It’s one of the things I don’t talk about enough when I talk about how much I love what I do. Yes, I plan weddings. But sometimes, somewhere between the timelines, meetings, changed plans and wedding days, my couples become people I genuinely care about long after the last song plays.

Getting to stay connected and watch life continue to unfold might just be one of the very best parts of this job.
