Creative Writing...Celebrating 101 Years of Poetry and Prose in April.

A splendid day for area students, teachers and parents as we recognized Creative Writing talents. Many winners in the room from Jefferson HS, Hononegah HS, Lutheran HS, Boylan HS, Keith HS. Kudos to ALL the teachers!

This year was dedicated to Lyn Becknell, a long-time member of the Lathrop department and a huge advocate for literacy.

Our Genevieve Taxon winner was awarded to Violet Sjostrom of Lutheran High School.
