It's fall festival season. Last weekend I was at the Rockford Harvest Festival. This weekend I'll be in Zeeland for Pumpkin Fest. I'll be twisting balloons on both Friday and Saturday. There will be lots of kids activities and a parade on Saturday. The weather is going to be great so come to Zeeland and enjoy one last festival. Check it out at Zeeland Festivals, Inc.

It's Fall. That means it's Rockford Harvest Festival time. This weekend in downtown Rockford is the place to be. I'll be twisting balloons at the Rockford Community cabin on Saturday from 1:00 - 4:00 and Sunday from 12:00 - 4:00. It's not just me. There will be fun stuff for the whole family all over town. Bring the family. The weather looks great. All the fun is brought to you by the Rockford Michigan Chamber of Commerce.

Can you believe its September already?
It's been a busy summer, but it's not over yet. Tonight I'll be at the Corner Bar for Kid's Night. Stop in for dinner and a balloon animal.
Then on Monday (Labor Day) I'll be at one of my favorite events of the year, The Labor Day Truck Parade, at the Holland Civic Center. I start twisting at 9:00 A.M. and the trucks roll in a little after that. There will also be face painting by my friends at LaLa Land Face Painting, and free Ice Cream. It's a great way to finish off the summer. Bring the kids.

I spent yesterday building a balloon arch for Weisstechnik for their Grand Opening of their new building. It held up even with the wind.

I'm going to be out and about at some public events this week.
First is tonight in Zeeland, for Zeelmania! Downtown Zeeland from 6:00 - 8:00 P.M. Zeeland Festivals, Inc. This is a fun summer festival that happens every Monday in July.
Tomorrow is Corner Bar, Rockford Michigan Kid's Night, from 5:30 - 7:30. Then it's the Blues Night also in Rockford. The music starts at 7:00 P.M. But, due to the Corner Bar I don't start twisting at the concert until just after 7:30. Even if you're not a big blues fan, the music is always great and it's a fun time. Thursday I'll be in Hudsonville for "Happenings on Harvey Street"
It's another fun street festival that happens every Thursday in July. I'll be twisting from 6:00 - 8:00 P.M.
The weather this week is going to be sunny and hot. So, get out with the family and enjoy it.

I hope everyone had a happy 4th of July. I had a very bust one. I performed for some of my clients that have been with me the longest. I started at the Mt. Beach Neighborhood Parade. I've done this event for 29 years. Then I headed up to the Ferrysburg 4th of July Picnic. I've only been doing this one for 17 years. I ended my 4th of July at the Canadian Lakes Celebration. I've been performing for this group for 15 years. I had a great day.
Next week July really gets busy. Every Monday night in July, in Zeeland is Zeelmania! From 6:00 - 8:00 P.M. there will be lots for family activities, including me.
Happenings on Harvey Street are on the Thursday nights in Hudsonville. I'll be there on July 16 and 30.
And don't forget I'll be at the Corner Bar on Tuesdays. Then I go to the Rockford Blues Night, which is a free concert down by the Rockford Dam.

I've wanted to do a Statue of Liberty for a long time. And, since I did the balloons for Graff Jeep in Rockford, that gave me a reason to do it. So, they get one more patriotic balloon. Go check it out. Graff Rockford

Tonight I will be twisting balloons at a fun event. I'll be in Hudsonville for their Summer Concert at Veteran's Park. The music and balloons start at 7:00 P.M. There will also be other kid's activities and food.
This weekend is also the Lakeshore Arts Festival in Muskegon. I'll be there on Saturday from 9:00 - noon.
So, get out with the family and enjoy the summer.
