OK, here is the Elbow Adventure.
About 3 1/2 weeks ago I fell on some steps and cut my elbow. I did the Neosporin and bandage thing and went on my way. I thought everything was healing fine. (I was wrong.) After my show a couple of Fridays ago I started to get a pain and then some swelling. On that Saturday, I did a show in Stanton, then went to Urgent Care. Then, I had a Birthday Party and my weekly visit to Woodchip Campground. By the end of the day, I had very swollen, red and painful left elbow. And a prescription for an antibiotic. Jumping ahead to the following Tuesday, it wasn't getting better. So, I went to my regular Doctor's office. They sent me to the Emergency Room. At the ER I got X-rays (everything fine) and another prescription for an additional antibiotic. Today I went back and saw my regular Doctor. I glad to say everything is healing well. Through all this I kept my show schedule and didn't miss a single show. (9 in all.)
The Show Must Go On!
Tonight I will be at the Corner Bar, Rockford Michigan for Kid's Night.
Next week is the beginning of June and I get really busy.

It's the Memorial Day Weekend. I'll be twisting balloons at the Fruitport Old Fashion Days on Saturday from noon to 3:00.
On Sunday, I'll be doing a show and making balloon animals at Woodchip Campground. Then on Monday I'll be, just down the road, at the Grattan Township Hall. for another show and balloon twisting. That one starts at 10:00 A.M.
It has been a busy week, several Day Care shows, a show at Story Point West. And of course, my Tuesday night at Corner Bar, Rockford Michigan. I'm there every Tuesday.
On top of all my shows, I've also been dealing with a health issue. Stay tuned for my elbow adventure. I want to see how it ends before I tell the public.

Spring is starting to get busy. This week starts the really busy season. Today I am heading to Wayland, to a Sr. Care Facility, Tomorrow I'll be doing a child Care Center and the Corner Bar. On Wednesday I'll be in Sparta at the Town Square from 6:30 - 8:00. That is a public event so bring the kids. Then, tis weekend I have some private events and I'm back at Woodchip Campground on Saturday night.
I love being busy! I am happiest when I'm performing.
Keep on the lookout. I'm sure I'll be in your neighborhood sometime this summer.

This weekend is the first of the big outside festival of the year. It Cinco de Mayo in Rockford, Saturday May 2nd. There will be lots of family friendly activities in downtown Rockford. I'll be there from 2:30 to 4:30 P.M. twisting balloons for the kids. There will also be music, tacos, miniature donkeys, more tacos and lots of other family fun. This is all thanks to our friends at Cinco De Mayo, and Rockford Michigan Chamber of Commerce. I hope to see you there.

Today was "Bring your Kids to Work Day". I twisted balloon at Rockford Construction. They ask me to make a construction vehicle. So, here it is.

Spring break is upon us. And if you didn't head to Florida and are looking for something to do with the kids, I have a couple of ideas for you. Tonight is kid's Night Corner Bar, Rockford Michigan I'll be twisting balloons from 5:30 - 7:30.
I'll also be doing shows at some local libraries this week:
Wednesday April 8th - 6:30 P.M. Alpine Library
Thursday April 9th - 3:30 P.M. Kent City Library
Friday April 10 - 1:00 P.M. Plainfield Library
I'll be doing my "Balloon Guy" show each day. The show feature balloon twisting, magic and juggling and a lot of fun for the kids.

Tonight is my favorite 2 hours of the week. Its Corner Bar, Rockford Michigan Kid's Night. I'll be twisting balloons from 5:30 - 7:30 P.M. Bring the family for dinner and a balloon animal.
Saturday I will be at the Be Nice Family Fun Festival at the DeVos Convention Center. The event runs from 10:00 A.M to 3:00 P.M. And this year its FREE. There will be lots of family friendly activities and information. It's another chance to get out with the family. Sop, get out and enjoy the warmer weather.

I am so glad February is over. It is cold, snowy and not much happening in the world of balloons. But hurray, its March!
I'll be at the Corner Bar, Rockford Michigan tonight for Kid's Night. I'll be there from 5:30 - 7:30 p.m. Then this Saturday I'll be at the Ionia Business and Bazaar event at the Ionia High School. The event runs from 9:00 A.M. - 1:00 P.M. I spend most of my time twisting balloons. But at some point, I don't know what time, I'll be doing my "Balloon Guy" show. It will be a fun time for the whole family. So if you're looking for something to do this weekend, hear to Ionia.
