🚀👾We got GORF!👽🔫

Gorf is a classic 1981 arcade game by Dave Nutting Associates and published by Midway It features five distinct levels, the first of which is based on Space Invaders and Galaxian. The game makes use of synthesized speech for the Gorfian robot which taunts the player, powered by a speech chip.

Players can advance through the ranks of Space Cadet, Space Captain, Space Colonel, Space General, Space Warrior and Space Avenger, which increases the speed and difficulty of the game and introduces more enemy patterns. Depending on the version, the player's current rank is displayed via a series of integrated lit panels on the cabinet.

The home ports omit the Galaxian stage because Japanese developer Namco (now Bandai Namco Entertainment) owns the rights to the Galaxian franchise.

🎃Horror game Highlight! 🎃💀🔥
Evil Dead:A Fistful of Boomstick
Released in 2003, it is the 3rd game of the franchise. You take control of Ash as he once again has to fight the Deadites after a local radio station played Professor Knowby's recording over the air.
The game itself is a classic Hack & Slash game with some survival horror inspired elements. Limited ammo, health, and saves.
Ash not only chops, shoots, and blows up Deadites; he will gain access to spells from The Book of the Dead to fight back. From enhanced strength to stronger spells that cast lightning.
Overall the game is pretty good and keeps faithful to the series tone. Its available on PS2 and Xbox, but you can always emulate it if you have neither

If anyone actually has the Necronomicon that was advertised in the manual please share, we would love to see how it looks.

Game is not available for play at the Marcade and comes from an employee’s personal collection which is not for sale. As of this post the Marcade does not have a PS2 available for use.
