We all love extra days off and bbq’s and beach days but never lose sight of what this holiday is really in honor of. Not to be confused with Veterans Day, Memorial Day is a day to honor and remember those who died in active military service. Those men and women gave their lives to defend the rights and freedoms that many take for granted. Although I always promote thanking the members of the military for their service, that is typically what Veterans Day is all about. A&T’s House of Bounce supports and appreciates the service of our military and in turn offers a 10% discount to all first responders 🥰

A&T's House of Bounce was started in 2014 as a family owned and operated small business that serves its local communities and school districts. It was difficult at first to establish ourselves but we stayed consistent and ended up buying out 4 other businesses. Year by year we grew even bigger. Even through Covid we managed to keep the doors open.

Sadly in early 2022 my husband passed away and I was not sure that I could do this alone, especially with a full time job. The first season I took a leave of absence and we opened the doors and we made him proud. And every year since then we have done the same except I also work my regular job too. More than once in the last few weeks people have said things to me like “since you closed the business” or “since you won’t be opening this year” and I am just wondering where they get this information from. Sure I’d love to sell the business to someone with the energy and the vision to keep it going and growing but never once have I ever said that we were not opening.

If you know me, you know that I am not a quitter. I own my business and I get things done both at home and at work. I put everything I have and everything I am into every single thing that I do. And this year will not be any different. If that means that I have to take Fridays off and drive a box truck then that’s what I have to do. But trust me when I say if I commit to it then it will be done.

I cannot say that I have done this alone the last 4 seasons. Thomas Wohlrab and Michael Moran have played very key roles in the daily operations and I could not have come this far without them. I hope that by this year in season 5 we continue to provide the service our customers have come to expect and we continue to grow and make ourselves proud!
