Chapter 50 - Faith, Freedom & Survival
I am usually quiet on social media. If I don’t post an inspirational quote to encourage or uplift someone, I stay in my little corner of the world.
I am so blessed to see 50 years or life. I have such an amazing testimony!!! Three and a half years ago I became paralyzed and had to have emergency brain surgery 2 days before Christmas. I lost my ability to talk or do anything for myself. On New Year’s Eve, my oldest son’s birthday, I was diagnosed with a rare form of brain cancer. I was given a terminal diagnosis. I was told that I had 7 days to live and that there was not a doctor in the United States to treat me.
But God🙌🏽🙌🏽 I laced up my boot straps and went to war fighting for my life. I had too learn life all over again. I went through extensive rehabilitation before I could start cancer treatments. I’m in awe of God’s love for me and the miracles that he has done in my life.
I will share more of my story later as I walk in my divine assignment. I want to encourage and inspire others. I have hope that in such trying times I can be a beacon of love and light in the world.
I asked the photographer not to edit out the scar on my chest. It is part of my testimony. I am a survivor!! I never regained the feeling in my right hand but I am still abundantly BLESSED!!!!!!
