It's wedding season...makeup artists in a lot of different states aren't allowed to work right now.... sooo I did a tutorial on wedding makeup!! What many don't know is that I actually did my own wedding makeup. I received so many compliments on how stunning I looked that night - and not just because I was wearing the white dress! (My mom said she was so impressed by my makeup skills; the woman who went to school for cos and taught me.)

I believe with practice and a great tutorial you can do your own wedding makeup, too!

I wanted to share this because of everything going on in the world and hope it can make things a little less stressful.

We’re living in a world where everything is by the minute ... we don’t know what tomorrow holds ... what the next week holds... or even the next month.
You may be finding that your wedding has to be pushed back due to the current situation going on in our world with the Covid-19 Pandemic.
So, what’s the best way to let your guests know that you’ll be postponing your wedding?
1) make a phone call to everyone who has RSVP’d and let them know that the date has to be pushed back. Also let them know to expect something in the mail very soon.
2) Mail out a postponement announcement with all the information they need. This is a great way to re-communicate with your guests that you’re date has changed. Having something tangible to put on a fridge or in a date book actually makes it easier to remember.
3) Let your guests know that if they’re UNABLE to attend, to let you know ASAP.
4) Keep them updated with any changes.

Day of coordination...

Yes or no?

I think this is the BIGGEST question I see so many people ask across the board whether you have a small wedding or a big one.

In all reality, it’s a yes. And not because we’re coordinators 😂

Why is it a “yes” .... because of the STRESS of running the show and BEING the show.

Handing off the phone numbers, the itinerary and the the responsibility to someone else is a breath of fresh air, literally. They keep you on track, they take care of any of the problems for you and *you won’t know about it*!
