Have you ever wanted a chance to swim in a mermaid tank? Get photos etc? Looking at setting up a day to do just that. It would be a reasonable fee for your time, bring your own camera /photographer or I can arrange one. If you are interested let me know and based on interest I will set aside a full day (or weekend)for this to happen !

Well, today, I finally got all the plumbing done on the Mermaid tank. The heater is hooked up. The sand filter is hooked up. It is currently running full of water and in the process of heating we are going to see how long it takes to heat. I turned it on about 10 minutes ago and I’ll check it as soon as I get home from work and we’ll see how warm it gets it started at 59° and we’ll see the process.

Ono Wahini Áina mermaid school has decided since we were not able to get into the world competition (time restraints we had no control over)we will be focusing on pulling a team together for 2028. We will be fundraising for the event and that being said our first fund raiser we have decided will be a mermaid calendar for 2027.
You can attach your favorite photo to be submitted for voting that will take place in August! All ages and genders will be allowed. (Yes you will be signing a photo/media release if you are chosen)
Let’s get creative…each photo submitted for consideration will be a $5.00.
We will have several judges so as no favoritism can take place.

Got the pipes almost done (short one connecting piece to pump them waiting on the pool paint arrival next week so I can repaint the floor!
