I love to capture moments in time of loved ones, friends, groups of people and special events. This is my privately run business that offers various photography packages including: weddings, family portraits, and senior pictures being our most popular. As a photographer taking pictures of you and your events, we believe that all pictures taken belong to you. Although all pictures will carry a small copyright stamp from our company, you will be given full rights to all of your photos once you hire our services. They say you’re not supposed to have a favorite child…
And honestly, I feel like the same rule should apply to photographers and their galleries. 😂

BUT YOU GUYS

I think this one might be testing that rule a little bit. 👀🤍

Because when I tell you I chose 80 PHOTOS to share from Angela + Krystian’s wedding day… EIGHTY. (The absolute max Meta will allow me to choose.)

And somehow, I STILL had a hard time narrowing it down. 😂

But let me tell you why I love this gallery so dang much.

We started the day at the Royal Park Hotel in Rochester, Michigan, where Angela and Krystian got ready and shared their first look.

And the photos we got there? STUNNING.

From the elevator, to the love lock bridge outside, walking through the halls, and that absolutely gorgeous couch in the library. There were just so many beautiful moments and places to photograph.

Then we headed to St. George of Kratovo Macedonian Orthodox Church in Farmington Hills, where I got to witness their beautiful ceremony, which included hand-fasting and those AMAZING crowns.

Afterward, we returned to the Royal Park Hotel and its beautifully decorated atrium for the party.
Which it DEFINITELY was.

From the delicious food, to the speeches, and their first dances, everything was wonderful.

But once the night was dark, and the hour was late, the Polish dance music began…

And all bets were off the table. 😂

Suddenly Krystian’s tie was undone, his family had all joined in, and the dance floor was ✨ALIVE.✨

It was incredible.

Then came the Macedonian music.

And THEN, because apparently the night wasn’t magical enough already, their friend put on the Jewish chair dance, and both Angela and Krystian were lifted into the air to celebrate their day.

But when they came back down?

Krystian, completely caught up in the moment, stood up on the chair, grabbed Angela to join him, and landed the BIGGEST kiss.

I MEAN. COME ON. 😭🤍

The entire day felt like something straight out of a romantic movie, and I was the incredibly lucky one who got to be behind the camera capturing it all.

From the quiet, romantic moments of the morning to the absolute joy and celebration of the evening, this wedding was something special.

Angela + Krystian, thank you for allowing me to tell your story. I’ll forever be grateful to have been a part of such an incredible day.

16 years ago today, I learned just how important photographs really are.

Not because I was a photographer, or because I understood lighting, or any of the technical things I know today.

It’s because I unexpectedly lost someone I loved, and suddenly the photographs I had of him became that much more valuable.

It’s something I carry with me every time I pick up my camera.

So here’s your reminder to take the pictures. Even when your hair is a mess. Even when the kids aren’t cooperating. Even when you don’t feel like being in them.

Because one day, those imperfect little moments might be the ones someone treasures most. 🤍

So here I am....

Sitting at my desk. Eating my lunch. Drinking my coffee. Getting ready to tackle yesterday's sessions.

Pulled out my SD card to put into the computer.

Realized how absolutely exhausted I already am this season.
It's October 8th, guys.
OCTOBER. EIGHTH. 😅😵‍💫

Thought to myself, "You know what I need? A constant coffee catheter drip installed at my desk to get me through the holiday season."

And then I thought, "Ha. That would make a funny post."

And THEN, instead of just making the post like a normal person, I thought...
"You know what? Let's make a whole graphic about it."

So I opened Canva.

And made this. Instead of editing.

And now here we are.

Meanwhile, my SD card is still sitting on my desk like... 👁👄👁

I knew it looked good digitally, but seeing the physical print of The Photograp[her] Magazine] Magazine Bride issue looks amazing.

We started the evening right at the beginning of golden hour and dipped all the way into blue hour itself.

We played on the bridge, wandered through the flowers, ran through the woods channeling a little T-Swizzle, and got moody on some trees. 😂

But my favorite part?

The doll. 🥹

“Wherever Caleigh was, Dolly was.”

She’s had her from the moment she was born, and Dolly made her way all the way to her senior photos. 😭

I’ve had seniors bring their instruments, sports gear, books, or whatever interests they had during that chapter of their lives…

But their childhood doll?!

Oh my goodness. Right in the feels.

Something that has been there from the very beginning, now making an appearance in photos celebrating her SENIOR YEAR?!

Roll for initiative… 🎲

A full nat 20 on getting to photograph Josh + Andrea’s Ren Fair wedding next September! ⚔️🏰

This one is especially fun because Josh and I have known each other since fourth grade. My family moved away when we were younger, we reconnected later on, and now all these years later I get to photograph his wedding. Very full-circle in the coolest way. 😂

They’ll be fully in costume, one of Josh’s groomsmen is literally his Dungeon Master, and I already know this is going to be such a fun one to photograph.

I cannot WAIT for this adventure. 🤍

…and yes, I am absolutely taking this as my sign to find a Ren Fair photographer outfit for myself. 👀😂

The colors are already starting to pop in the trees and the calendar is starting to fill up!

October is officially here and apparently she came ready to keep me B U S Y. 😅😂
Between family sessions, seniors, weddings, events, personal family birthdays, and everything in between, I am very excited for what this month has in store.
