4/16/19 Whiskey River Pub and Grill - I’ve eaten here many times, since they first opened. The food was always good. Lately they’ve been slipping and slipping hard. The last few visits were quite disappointing. The burger was sloppy and mediocre , the spinach artichoke dip was not good at all. (Now it’s off the menu). I went last night for “taco Tuesday”. They have $2 tacos on Tuesdays. Unfortunately, the tacos were horrible. They offer a choice of beef, chicken, pulled pork or buffalo chicken. I tried the beef and chicken. The beef tacos were literally a cold soft flour shell with a tiny scoop of greasy ground beef, some shreds of lettuce and a piece of two of tomato. The chicken was dry and was served the same way as the beef. It came with a side of salsa. Very disappointing. Even a $2 taco can still be awesome if prepared properly. 👎🏻
