Some evenings just remind you why you love what you do.

This w**e & food pairing was one of those nights — delicious bites, beautiful w**es, lots of laughter, great conversation, and the kind of connections that make an evening memorable.

But honestly, it’s never just about the w**e.
It’s about gathering around the table.
It’s about sharing stories.
It’s about discovering something new together.
It’s about the people who show up, the people who collaborate behind the scenes, and the community we create along the way.

Sixteen years after graduating from RIT, I’m incredibly proud and grateful to share that I’m returning as Visiting Lecturer, Hospitality & Tourism Management Saunders College of Business 🧡🖤

I’ve worked hard for this moment, and truthfully, I’ve wanted this opportunity ever since I graduated. To finally see that goal become a reality is incredibly meaningful.

I’m grateful for the journey, everyone who supported me along the way, and the chance to give back to the university that helped shape me. 🥂🫶

An afternoon that transported us to Friuli-Venezia Giulia, one glass and one bite at a time. 🇮🇹🍷

We began with the sparkle of Prosecco alongside Prosciutto di San Daniele, melon, olives, and peppercorn cheese — a beautiful introduction to the flavors of FVG.

From there, each pairing unfolded like another chapter: delicate scallops with Ribolla Gialla, the warmth and character of Frico Caldo with Collio Bianco, and deeply savory short ribs alongside CiallAROSSO and Refosco.
The evening ended with something sweet — Moscato “Exenthia” accompanying burrata with fruit and, of course, tiramisu.

FVG, on the Slovenian border of Italy, was challenging to source w**es from… really interesting styles of w**e, indigenous grapes, and memorable experience. 🥂

More than a w**e lunch, it was a little journey through a region rich in tradition, terroir, and incredible hospitality. The best part? Experiencing it together, around the table, where food and w**e have a way of turning an evening into a memory. ❤️🥂

Fontina, Spiced Gouda, and aged Cheddar as we dove into a sensory focused w**e tasting and pairing with each highlighting similarities of each craft.👏🏻🔥😋
Fox Run Vineyards Traminette with Spiced Gouda,

Dao Tinto red blend with aged Cheddar
