I've lost an amazing partner. Randy Hansen and I have worked together for many years, first on Oakland University projects, and then on our hugely successful YES! Expo events. He shared his vision – getting middle and high school students excited about science, technology, engineering and math – by bringing them together for a one-day field trip at Ford Field with 100 exhibitors and a live show. And I was in. Since then, we've brought nearly 100,000 students to Ford Field and changed their futures. And we have the research to prove it. He never stopped believing we could change lives just by showing children their future. I'm devastated at losing this amazing friend and partner, one so committed to the good of others. Thank you, Randy, for enriching so many lives. Including mine.

And another client major event is in the record books. Despite all the moving pieces in an event this big, I'm amazed at how smoothly it can go when you have a true partnership with a client. They are dedicated to success, so they provide the resources, the direction and quick approvals. We do the rest. And just like that, another home run.

Another big win! We just helped a client land a big piece of business – a health system with hospitals in four states. Losing is part of life ... but winning is more fun.

Service excellence. It's what keeps companies connected to their customers, sometimes even more than the services and products themselves. (Why? Because we'll often forgive companies for their mistakes if we're handled with care.) And right now, we're developing strategic recommendations for a service excellence program for a health system with facilities in four states. They're ripe for a service-focused program that will delight their customers.

We just finished producing a series of television commercials for Walmart. Have you seen the real moms discovering how much they can save while at Walmart (with the help of a high-energy host)? That's us. We handled talent for the entire Michigan market. Because Michigan moms are the best.

Just finished filming a new video for a great client. Our sixth year in a row and probably the best and fastest. We got the client out early both days. Preparation is everything!
