Just a girl sitting by the river with her Teva sandals, a WANDRD camera bag, a foldout chair, a couple of cameras, and a head full of thoughts.
Ever since I started this page, I convinced myself everything had to be aesthetically pleasing. The feed had to flow. The reel covers had to match. I worried that if it all looked too jumbled, people wouldn’t get my style or I wouldn’t get the opportunities I hoped for.
But sitting here today, I realized that I’m tired of creating pressure where there doesn’t need to be any.
I’m on a new wave of posting what feels good in the moment. Releasing the pressure of posting consistently. Not worrying if the covers line up or if my grid is perfectly curated.
Because when I think about the people I admire most, it has nothing to do with their Instagram feed. It has everything to do with how they treat people. How they spend their time. How they show up when no one is watching. How they make others feel.
Life isn’t meant to be curated into neat little squares.
And if my feed gets a little messy because I’m out actually living, listening to the river, chasing light with my cameras, and collecting moments that matter, then I think I’m okay with that 🍃
